Yeah,
Atleast they could put the GB/GBC and GBA titles on the virtaul console.

Additionaly, couldn't they have let the wii play DS games?
The Wiimote could have perfectly simulated the pointer.

Well. see as how they have themselves at 2 gens behind with the virtual console, and i was thinking about this, I dont see a reason why the couldnt have GB/C games on it, but not GBA because those are still widely available in retail.

As for the DS thing, that WILL happen, but most likely ds games which are tailored for this sort of thing, sorta of the way Four Swords was for the GBA/GC.

Mabye youre able to download gba titles to your sd card and play them on your wii

Now the great thing about being able to play GBA and DS games on the Wii, is that you would get a better feel for the Wii's powers then with NGC games.

Of course the using the wiimote as a cusor for DS games would be great, I can see Kirby, Yoshi, MPH (with forcefeed back none the less), StarFox working very well.
But even more so, GBA games like WarioWare Twisted, Yoshi Topsy Turvy , Kirby etc, that already make use of gyro's.
(btw, isn't excite truck based on a Wario Ware mini game?)

maybe you can power up your Wii to your DS, download GB games from VC, save it to the SD card, then the Wii steams it to the DS...and when you save or something, it saves on teh SD card, and then it boots from it, cause there would be no DS cart
