Icon14 Wii Fit

Walking into my work place does have it's ups and downs but most definitely one of it's ups is grabbing software before anyone else. It's awesome, and today I got myself a copy of Wii fit... for errr, the Wii.

Impressions and Pics coming soon!

This will probably be in my house by release, not by my doing though, probably my dads. Meh, they can have this, while i'll be enjoying GTAIV.

Once they start putting out proper games for this thing used in conjunction with the wiimote and nunchuck then it will get my full attention, because then it will truly be full body control. But for now, I'll play it a couple of times and then probably never come back to it.

Ya I've seen Wii Fit but I guess the only reason I didn't get it was cause
1st: I am in the land of broke people
2nd: I thought it was for fat and unfit people, considering the name

and uuh Chuddy where do you work?

WiiFit (taken from a quote from shigiru miyamoto) is a game that doesnt make you lose weight. It just makes you aware of your fitness level.

Hahah...then the bored is defs for me!
But remember.
Thats just the game.
The Wii board is just an extra.
For example Raving Rabids 3 uses the board. Theres an add out for it...cant be bothered searching for it though.

Everyone should watch their fitness level. Even if you're not "fat" chances are that you aren't the ideal weight by any means. Dunno what it is about having kids, but now I'm starting to pack on the pounds. Wii Fit will be a good addition to my daily routine. Health maintenance just something everyone should consider. Not trying to impose on anyone here, just my opinion.

That said, I'll be picking up the whole kit come release day. The Wii is already popular in this household (I've yet to beat my wife in Brawl when she uses CF... heh) so this will cement its place in our family.

<3 Ninty's crazy new ideas.

I agree with DSDude, everyone should watch their fitness. Fitness has less to do with weight than many (perhaps most) people think. In a general sense, it is about physical capability.
Physical fitness - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I'm a tad underweight (about 143lbs/6'2") and I'm far from fit. I went biking on Tuesday, 12-14 miles, for the first time in about 4 years, and I could barely stay above 10MPH most of the way and kept falling behind the other 2 guys I was biking with. I plan to go biking every week or two because I obviously need the exercise.
