i think the wii is going to die to be honest, it dosent really hold much for it to be honest, I mean, it seems ok and all, but its nothing amazing, and i think people will get bored of it quickly.

All the Wii needs to have lasting value is Nintendo games. I just went back to play some Pikmin, and I got that alongside my cube.

That was the opinion of many people before the DS was released, and now look at it. I see the Wii going the same path of DS, with a bunch of skeptics at the beginning and it becomes a massive sellout (as it is now) and everyone loves it for years.

I agree with Pilot. The DS is now recognised throughout the world as the new GameBoy (which isn't at all correct ...) but nearly everyone knows what it is and they become quite attatched quickly.

I don't recognize it as a Gameboy, I recognize it more as a successor to Gameboy, following in the steps of GB in terms of popularity. I also understand that (as they say) they're still working on the GB series, separate of DS, but if that's the case I have no doubt that they used the DS to find out what kind of technology would be good to put into their GB line, which I could expect everything except the double screens.
