Wii Mods

I found this awesome mod to the Wiimote. It's incredible. I'm tempted to try it myself.

(Uh oh, dugg, bandwidth gone, try )

Feel free to post any Wii mods you think are cool.

That is indeed cool. Not technically genious though, all he did is replacing a few LEDs. All it require is a screwdriver that fits with those screws nintendo is using, LEDs (or any type of light simalar to the one Wiimote is using, I really have no clue) of different colours, and some solder (sp?) skills.

It is more complicated than that, the different color leds from the A button have to be wired to the power of the same color light at the bottom

In danger of repeating my self, I really have no clue.

And on that matter, I'll be quiet now. *Sits in a dark corner*

Hmm... And you would have to extract/modify the button as well, wouldn't you? Since under normal circumstances it would have the "A" there. Then again, I can still see the A in the video, so judging by the light pattern, I think it is two LEDs on either side of the button. In fact, upon closer examination... He places the LEDs of different colors on different sides.
