I beat them with my Infernape and my Dialga. The reason this game's Elite Four is more difficult than others is because they use pokemon at higher levels than Elite Four in other games, and because they don't all use only one type of pokemon. For example, the champion's pokemon are all completely different types, and the second to last member of the Elite Four (the guy with the red afro) only has two fire pokemon even though he is supposedly a fire pokemon trainer. So in order to beat the Elite Four and the champion, you must have a team of wide variety of types, and each of your pokemon should have a wide variety of types of moves. Hope I could help.
*EDIT* If anyone has any trouble with the Elite Four still, I could probably trade them some high level pokemon.
