No defects here. It should also be noted that dead or stuck pixels are not a manufacturing error that Sony made. All TFT LCD screens are subject to a dead or stuck pixel. It is the manufacturing error of the LCD company (In the US, the case would be Samsung). Also, there have been far less real problems with the PSP's in the US. The main problem, and the problem you hear most about, is usually screen-related. Other than that, the [US] system is subject to much less manufacturing glitches than the [early] Japanese PSP's.

It depends on the number of dead/stuck pixels and their location. Sony won't take it back if you, say, have 1 or 2 dead/stuck pixels in the corner of your screen. However, if you have something like 5 dead/stuck pixels in the middle screen, that's something Sony will take action about. Other than that, if you didn't buy a warranty from the location in which you purchased your PSP, there's nothing more you can do.
