Wow, EMCF, if I was admin here you would be kicked to the curb. Leave Mike alone. What's with calling people Simpletons? That's not going to get you anywhere in life. GTA is a great game. Just look at the open-endedness of San Andreas. A Simpleton game would be that PS2 game Lowrider, where the whole point of the game is to bounce to the music. That's a very tiny minigame in GTA: SA. When a company bases an ENTIRE GAME off of a minigame, that's just stupid. And whoever buys it is getting ripped off. They are the misinformed consumer, not a 'Simpleton' as you call it. What about Half-Life 2 or Halo 2. Are they Simpleton Games? Since, ya know, you just shoot the crap out of everything? What about Soul Calibur II. Are you going to refer to it as a 'button-masher'? It's a very deep fighting game. And about complaing that Sony needs to stop making sequels, ***** to Sony, not us. Sorry EMCF, but you're a Simpleton in my book now.

To start off I'd just like to call you simple. Now with that out of the way...
Oh, dispite a lot of glitches, retardly easy shooting, and the endless arbitrary time limits that would make the driving fun GTA is a great game because it is "open ended"? Well, wow, i never saw it that way. Oh wait, yes I did, if you pulled your head out of your ass for a moment and looked at some of my other posts you would see where I said GTA III changed the gaming industry with the whole sandbox go where ever you want, do whatever you want game style. It was easy to over look the simplicity then, hell, even I, you god, did. But then they just rehashed it two more times, the biggest changes being. (1) Motorcycles (2) You're black now, and you can change your clothes and hair! (3) The ability to shoot out tires. Now, of course they changed the story line, but you are doing the same bloody thing, just a new person is telling you to do it.
Half-life 2 is a game I have the misfortune of owning, BORING, it's a above average shooter with a semblance of a storyline. The only neat part is (A) Gravity gun (B) Physics. Beside that it is a flop. Disagree? That's why you're stupid.
Now, I will be fair. I never played Halo 2, I played the first one. And yes it was a good game, best first person shooter ever? Hell no. Worth a rental though, and from what I've heard in Halo 2 they put even less work into the single player but instead consentraited on online. Unfair to those who don't have access. You feeling stupid yet?
I rented Soul Caliber, once the novelty of playing as link wore off I realised I had a boring, crappy fighter game. With no actual storyline or any variations of gameplay. You just punch the bloody buttons. How can you even call it deep? There are dozens of titles that are as good or better than that game. Worst fighter I've played since Dead or Alive.
Oh no! I am a simpleton in the eyes of some douche I've never met, and never will meet. A person who thinks that soul caliber was "deep". So, basically a retard doesn't like me. For shame.
