RE: What is...

I would say Lumines should be on the top of everyone's list. Chuddy, BigNDS, listen to me - I know neither of you have played Meteos, but this game actually pwns and judging from reviews and comparisons, Lumines isn't much worse!

I will eventually get Meteos and possibly Lumines but at the moment, if i had to choose, Id get a proper game i can play through, im still getting them, but at the moment, i dont care how good they are, puzzle games arnt top of my list.
Back on topic- Ive just ordered Wipeout Pure with a silicon case plus screen protectors for £38 from Amazon. I should be getting it on Launch Day or maybe a day after. If it is a day after it wont really bother me as i'll have Ridge Racer to play.

I'm not 100% sure about Lumines, but Meteos IS a game you can play right through. It's got a story mode, and very addictive it is too!

Amazon are very good with deliveries, I'm pretty sure you'll get it on Launch day. £38 though, that's expensive...

Look, Gamespot gave Lumines a 9.0 and an Editor's Choice Award. I don't know about you, but that would be enough to convince me. On a side note, very odd about meteo's scoring... It got an 8.5 at gamespot, but on their live webcast, Ryan Davis (the editor that covered Meteos), when asked which one was better, reluctantly said he preffered meteos.

RE: What is...

It may have got a good score but that doesn't mean we will like it. It's like football (soccer) games they sometimes get rated stupidly high scores but I can't stand them. One bit.

At launch, I'm looking for a wide variety of games and my choice can only consist of two. WipeOut Pure and Medievil are games that are totally different. One being racing and one being adventure. If I have the money I might take a huge step and go as far as spending 30£ on a puzzle game. Or not.

Well, you should at least get Meteos, that's even cheaper, and even better.

Hehe, ShadowMarth, you should not give up so easily! Bandai need Chuddy's hard-earned cash. Your half and half right though about the ratings - if you look, I have been led to believe Medievil has been given pretty poor scores, and even if you love a certain type of game, it doesn't stop you hating the bad of that genre.

The only thing I'm disbelieving of is BigNDS saying you can't play right through a puzzle game yet he's just bought Wipeout!

DS Price Drop?

Well, Meteos is cheaper, and the touch screen controls are great, so if they play that they're likely to give lumines a chance.
