RE: DS Price Drop?

I agree.

Maybe this should go in the Meteos topic, but this is on-topic so what the hell. When I first got it, having heard the touch-screen controls were so great, I was a little disappointed. I just couldn't pinpoint to where I wanted and drag it down easily. I don't know what's changed, but wow, I now love the controls!

Chuddy to answer your question, it's a simple yes. Am I right in saying that Tetris isn't so much fast but more tactical and addicting? Meteos can be played tactically, is DEFINATELY addicting and to add to that is very fast. The controls are great like I've explained above. There's good single player modes as well - I've yet to play against anyone, and I doubt I ever will, but I still love this game. I've spent 15 hours on it in little over 2 weeks, and to add to that, I've never been a fan of the puzzle genre. Geddit!

Have you tried Lumines, SM?

I dont understandwhat you are trying to say. Wipeout is a huge game and once youve gotten through the main game, theres multiplayer plus downloadable content.

That uis true. Wipeout has a little more depth to Meteos and yeah, no story line but it still has alot more to offer but then again, thanks to euan_hmfc, I'm gonna get Meteos.

Im planning on getting that also, but if it isnt up to scratch, then its going back to game for a nice and shiny PSP game.

RE: Re: RE: Online Block Party

It won't. Also, the money for it new wouldn't pay for a PSP game, much less traded in. I promise though, you won't be trading it in. As for chuddy... We'll see what you think about the depth in a week.

O but it will. When you buy a game from GAME, you get a 14 day return-if-you-dont-like thing, so ds games are £30 psp games are £30.
Oh yeah are you saying Meteos has more depth then Wipeout? Are you being serious?

You don't understand what I'm trying to say because you haven't yet experienced. You will soon though. Meteos is a pretty big game - I've played 'star trip' for nearly eight hours and still have one mode to complete. It takes a while to get used to the game as well so it's not as if you can jump straight in and complete within three hours. Once completed you can go back and complete on a harder difficulty (and trust me, that's not as boring as you think), or perfect your technique / high-scores on the smaller games - in particular, I loved the 100 Meteos game and the 2 minute time war, or should I say love. After that, you can even fuse to unlock planets, which again sounds boring and not worth doing but you'll find yourself "saving up"!

Oh, and there's multiplayer too, I almost forgot....

While I totally disagree with your first point Chuddy, you can still call me 'Euan' ;)

RE: Wanna Play Ad-Hoc Games Online?

Yeah, one of the producers was a main man on the Smash Bros games, and he brought his fettish for stats with him. You have all kinds of stats to check out. it records how much time you have logged in every mode, average scores, meteos launched, incerated, ignited, and much more.
