seriously, you guys are idiots. Who cares if you love the ds, you're being immature by going to a forum directed at your rival system's fanbase. Both the PSP and the DS have problems, in your opinion one may be better than the other. It completely depends on your gaming preference. Not acknowledging that shows the amount of maturity you've grown to have.

Seriously, grow up. It's high-time to realize that there is more than one company in the gaming industry. And especially the handheld industry. With a very possible rumor floating around about Microsoft releasing Halo on the Gizmondo, we may have another competitor. Competition is what makes an industry grow and continue to grow.

In most cases that's true, but there's a few (usually the ones everyone hears about) that aren't the case. Competition can kill popular products, take EA for example, buying out all the good companies and making their games 10 times worse.
If the competition in the handheld industry gets too heated for Nintendo (not likely, but still possible) and they stop making handhelds (or try the plan the competition uses), we could see the end of the good side of handheld gaming as we know it, all because there's more people that think graphics is better than gameplay.
Not everything has the same result...

You do have a point but people like me like to"express their feelings" about another "topic". We didn't aim it at you so me and skyline won't stop.

You're forgetting that it's EA. And that's not really competition anyway... (monopoly, anyone?). Competition keeps companies going until one dumb*** company tries to take over. Usually results in poor customer reaction. BUT for the companies that don't give up (Nintendo), it allows them to explore new ground in terms of technology. Although I don't much care at all for those PSInext forums...

The way I see it, EA competes by buying out companies that get a lot of sales, so now they're some 50 times bigger than the next company down. Either EA is really competitive in that way, or they're really uncompetitive because they remove the most of their competition from the industry.
Even so, competition in business means more about competitive prices and sales than anything, not about good products.
