what else has EA bought lately other than a big slice of ubisoft?

the EXCLUSIVE rights to use NFL teams, NFL players, and NFL stadiums for the next five years in the madden series...

they also own something like 44% of another company that i can't quite place the name of, and it's bothering me badly right now, but not enough for me to go search for it. if it comes to my mind i'll edit this post, or post another one.

EA usually only makes their original games good, such as BF1942. A series of games such as from a company they bought or even sometimes of their own games usually turns out rather bad and just about always worse than earlier games in the series (although I have expectations for BF2).
Companies and games don't seem to fit together with me... I hate Xbox but like Microsoft, I didn't really like N64 (until I found out how much Sony is greedy like EA, so now I hate PlayStation more even though it's the only console in my house) but like Nintendo, I like some EA games but hate EA. As for current times, I don't like consoles at all because a PC can do the same stuff but better and WAY more. I like DS cause it's the best gaming device you could carry around everywhere you go and FPS games have the "mouse" type controlling that's as fast as you can move your hand (the only well known non-PC system that could do that AFAIK) and I've always been with Nintendo since the original Gameboy.

Does anyone know what the top game developer is besides EA? The only one I can think of is Ubisoft because that's EA's next target, but if it isn't Ubisoft then what is it? EA needs to die for taking away all the good well-known game companies.
