GB Emulator Released (Beta)

Development is real fast on the PSP and already we have the first emulator for it. The GB emulator for PSP was released by Mr. MIRAKICHI on one of the most famous forums in Japan a little while ago.

You will have to rename the GAME ROM to ROM.GB and put it to the same folder as EBOOT.PBP. Also this will only work with firmware version 1.00.

The emulator has to be put in a subdir to the GAME/ dir called APP1/.
So its PSP/GAME/APP1/"

Upload it onto your Mem Card, go to GAMES - MEMORY CARD - GB EMU. TADA! I wish it was that simple... not working for me. I guess the rom is messed (I hope). Anyone know any good GB (original) rom sites

It only works for PSP's with the original 1.0 firmware. If you bought a North American PSP, they've already been upgraded to 1.5, so it won't work. 'Tis a shame, really. I wanted to try this out... :?

what GB games would you play anyway? all the good portable games up until now were GBA...

Is it possible to demote the firmware of the PSP?

lol, I don't even think there is a big difference between 1.0-1.5.... only 0.5 difference, no?

Anyways... I just want to play GB games =P
