very few games are actually taking advantage of the touch screen and the rest of the DS's functionality, and the only one out right now is Feel The Magic.

i doubt anyone got that "larf" thing other than you....

Are you stupid? Wait, don't say anything, you'll only embarrass yourself.

Several games are taking advantage of the touch screen, Puyo Pop, Feel the magic, Mr. Driller, Madden (The easier audibles and hot routes is a gift from god). Even the mario mini games as I've mentioned. The touch screen will also bring Wario Ware to a new level. But, of course, not all games will use it. Mostly the third party crap titles, but no one in their right mind should care about that.

Think before you speak.

sorry, i meant to say "fully" take advantage of the DS functionality. i think that the games could go a lot farther with the hardware, but developers are too scared to try it.

I don't think that they are scared. I think that they're just barely becoming accustomed to the touch screen. If you were new to riding a bicycle, would you not have to learn how to ride first? Then, would you not learn how to ride without falling? It's a similar principle. The developers have to get used to the second screen and it's abilities.

Everyone must realize, and I'm sure this has already been posted here but I'm just reiterating the fact that most Game Boy / Advance games are licenced crap. Hopefully this trend doesn't continue in the DS. I bought a DS for Nintendo's innovation. Feel the Magic wouldn't be possible without the DS's unique abilities, and that game is what most of my non-gamer friends love to try on my DS. I want the PSP so I can play ports of PS2 games on the go instead of lugging a power inverter, an LCD screen, controllers, cords, and the console around.
