That's pure speculation, no one knows how much it will cost, but if Sony is smart, it will release the PSP at $150.

$150 won't happen. Sony is losing money on the units anyway. They won't sell lower than $175 in the beginning. I expect the base to cost $199, and the value pack to be $225.

Nintendo loses money on the DS and the gamecube. it's a part of video gaming business to lose money on the system

the developers of the systems gain their money from the games. thats why systems with a weak 3rd party often die prematurely.

Fortunately for Nintendo, their franchises bring in a lot of money to compensate for those losses.

I would debate on that, but this isn't System Wars. I'll just leave it at that.

you can't debate against sales figures. more ps2 games are sold than gamecube games. so sony gets more money from them.

RE: Re: RE: Re: Sony and Coke???

No, I would be debating the money Nintendo gets from its franchises + its systems.

RE: multiplayer in uk?

It's the overall income that matters I think, although to be fair we should just look at the gaming part of Sony vs. Nintendo. It would also be good to split it up into console and handheld categories. I don't have any figures and don't know who's getting the most income, just specifying what stats to be looking for. I think the one with the least income would be the best company as far as money/customer care, since the one with more income is most likely more for money than the other company and money usually counteracts customer care.
Add: I should also note that fame often counteracts money, but it can also counteract customer care as I see Sony doing with the PSP. Fame in the handheld business is what I see Sony doing, so they can overcome Nintendo, but I don't see any customer care at all yet, not a word from Sony about the problems with the PSP other than the short supply and maybe battery life.
