I could hurl a rock into a crowd, odds are the person I hit would be a simpleton. Which is exactly why PS2 sells so well, make some simple games that I could play with my dick. Then let the idiots spend their paychecks on them. GTA is the single simplist game ever (excluding puzzles etc). Really, they add the odd arbitrary time limit, usually completely uneeded. Remember in GTA: VC? Get to the mall and smash the stores, but you only have 5 minutes for no reason. And shooting, don't even get me started. Just hold down R1, then push O. You killed him, no need for pesky aiming. Simpletons don't want a challenge.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Need For Speed Underground: Rivals

five minutes is a realistic time for cops to arrive at a scene.

If you want a challenge, then do MENSA puzzles, video games are meant to be easy, because if they weren't, they wouldn't sell. No one wants to play a game they can't beat. Not even the most hardcore of a gamer. Simplicity is bliss. Being able to beat a game is a great feeling, no matter who you are.

Simplicity is bliss? So is ignorance. Great arguement.

Five minutes is actually a little less than realistic, but that's not the point. If they were making the police seem like some giant obstacle you need to avoid, then why make it so damn easy to kill endless ranks of police officers as they charge heedlessly at you? The game is stupid.

Games by definition are supposed to be fun and challenging in some way shape or form. I like being challenged, so: enter the zelda. You like banging rocks together: Gta is teh awsom.

Being able to beat a game IS a great feeling, but there are differences. I would feel better beating a expert at say, chess, than slaughering a four year old. But you know, some of us may be challenged by the said four year old.

so you want every game to be really hard, so that most people can't beat them, which would end up making people refuse to buy video games, and would eventually lead to the demise of the video gaming industry.

So far, i can tell you won't rest until every video game company is bankrupt.

Now you are putting words into my mouth. I want games to be hard, so that it takes knowlage and skill to complete them. It doesn't nessisarily have to be impossible. I'm sure we could make a few "bang rocks together" games for people like you.

i like how you assume [read, put words into my mouth] that i love simple games. I haven't played Elmos ABCs and 123s since i was four...

but if you don't like the simple games, dont buy them. simple as that. They aren't going to go away, because there are far more gamers who rather play a game that doesn't require hours to get from one place to another.

I don't buy simple games, that's not the problem. It's the idiots buying low quality simpleton games. I think I've made that clear a few times. ONCE AGAIN SIMPLETON, THE GAME DOES NOT NEED TO BE IMPOSSIBLE BUT IT SHOULD REQUIRE AT LEAST SOME SKILL. How many times do I need to repeat myself? The longer this goes on the worse the gaming industry will be. Nintendo sees it, as they said: "The gaming industry needs to change, we can't just keep releasing the same games with better graphics, or eventually we will collapse" (not exact quote). I disagree, I think sony could damn well get away with continually just beefing up the graphics. Why? SIMPLETONS. I have made that plenty clear. But they damn well know that the smart gamers out there need a change. Enter the DS. Enter the Revolution. Please jump into traffic.

now you're changing your arguement. at first you were arguing that games are too simple, and now you're arguing that sony keeps on releasing sequels to their games? and actually you mentioned something about both of those in your last post. so tell me, what are you arguing about? because i have an arguement for both of those, except you seem to have a pretty one track mind and don't really notice that you sound like a moron when you talk.

Wow, I am being called an idiot by someone who seems to have a seventh grade education. If you could speak english, you would notice I say. "People buy stupid games, so they make more stupid games" EXACTLY what I just said, GTA was stupid in the first place, but people buy it, so they make more. Get it now? Or do I need to dumb it down even more for you?
