http://uk.psp.ign.com/objects/737/737755.html
Stumbled upon it.

c&c gets pwnt by starcraft.

*prays for starcraft ds*

i have a hard time believing teh RTS genre works very well on the PSP anyway. its kinda like n64 starcraft... no mouse? no fun. teh ds stylus can easily replace a comp mouse, but obviously the psp has no such innovations.

therefore, c&c psp phails.

It does get owned by starcraft. And starcraft sucked on 64. So, C&C will suck horribly on PSP.

See, gang raping, with shadowmarth starting the proceedings.
Negative foo's, controls WILL be awkward, of course, but its the possibilty of red alert underneath.
ah screw it.

lmao

i have a friend who ownz both and he agrees that starcraft PWNS it.

i was on vacation for like 2 weeks one time and all i played was red alert. its a great game, but definetely doesn't stack up against the gaming perfection of blizzard.

but even starcraft on teh psp would suck, imo...

All right. You're entitled to your opinion. But I must tell you, westwood did not do it first. It was first done in Dune II. The first modern RTS.

warcraft came out before c&c >_>

i haven't played dune II... was it based off the books?!?

edit: nvm yes it was. thank you wikipedia.

edit2: dune II was not the first RTS, but it did give the genre a nice kick-start.

Quote:
While Westwood laid the foundation and provided the prototype for RTS games with Dune II, Blizzard Entertainment, between 1994 and 1998, can be argued to be singularly responsible for establishing the form and content of the genre as understood today. Their famous Warcraft titles, Warcraft: Orcs & Humans (1994) and its sequel Warcraft II: Tides of Darkness (1995), refined the concepts introduced in Dune II and arguably ushered in the era of contemporary RTS by its treatment of the burgeoning genre elements and groundbreaking popularity. With Command&Conquer (1995) and C&C: Red Alert (1996), while Westwood provided the original blueprint and prototype, Blizzard cemented the form of what was by now recognised as "proper" RTS games, and finally with Starcraft (1998) provided the de facto standard measure against which all new RTS games are still measured.
