RE: XBOX 2 On May 12

dude i've convinced PSP fans not to get one just by showing them the announced games list and comparing it with the DSs. yes, these are 16-18 year old people, not little kids.

guild wars

Ok, Lkr sucks at convincing. I'll show you the DS stuff being shown at E3. That should prove my point.

Nintendo
Advance Wars DS (DS)
Animal Crossing DS (DS)
Kirby: Cursed Canvas (DS)
Mario Kart DS (DS)
Metroid Prime Hunters (DS)
Nintendogs (DS)
Super Mario Bros. (DS)

And that's just the nintendo stuff. A few non-nintendo games I am looking forward to, or at least inquisitive about.

Snowboard Kids DS (DS)
Meteos (DS)
Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (DS)
GoldenEye: Rogue Agent (DS)
Castlevania DS (DS)
ATV: Quad Frenzy (DS) (wtf? Well, it's listed right near nanostray...)
Nanostray (DS)
Shogun Warrior: Real-Time Conflict (DS)
Need for Speed: Most Wanted (Cube, DS, GBA, PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox)

Obviously I did not list all of them, but those are the number I am looking for at E3. (wow, I better save my money)

Perhaps we should gander at the PSP list?

Untitled Handheld Game #1 (PSP)
Untitled Handheld Game #2 (PSP)
Bloodrayne (PSP)
Advent Shadow (PSP)
Coded Arms (PSP)
Death Jr. (PSP)
Need for Speed: Most Wanted (Cube, DS, GBA, PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox)
Madden NFL 2006 (Cube, PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox) (Now seriously, which of those would you want)
The Godfather (PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox, Next-Gen)
The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, and the Wardrobe (Cube, DS, GBA, PC, PS2, PSP, Xbox)

That is the ENTIRE PSP list. I just listed the good ones for DS... Also, the ones with multiple consoles, would you really rather play them on the PSP rather than GC or PS2?

Edit: I began typing this before Ghaleon posted, so don't think I copied him. Welcome Ghaleon.

RE: tunneling update(XLink)

You guys are only reinforcing x999x's reasoning. There are only a few titles that most people will know about and be automatically interested in: Need For Speed, GoldenEye, Super Mario Bros., and possibly Metroid Prime Hunters. Other than that, all the games you have listed only immediately appeal to the core fanbase. As for the PSP game list, these titles are more mainstream and more publicly acknowledged: BloodRaye, Need For Speed, Madden, The Godfather. Coded Arms is a FPS, so it's bound to garner some attention as well.

You guys have to remember, most people are going to buy the things they know, and less often buy into new games. And how can you say that the list you posted, ShadowMarth, contains ALL the PSP games? I assure you, it does not.

Not all the PSP games man, read the post. That's the list of games being shown at E3.

My sentiments exactly mormon. If you don't like those games, then you can barely be considered a gamer.

RE: New legend of Zelda?!?!

everyone has different tastes so its not fair too dismiss someone like that.

RE: One reason why its better in the UK

just as good? if the DS games were only "just as good", then the PSP would be easily better because it has all those media features.

but the fact that the DS games are much better is why people buy it.

dude mormon you forgot some titles... like Prince Of Persia: WW. if thats not mainstream, i don't know what is.

considering he named most big genres except RPGs, that applies to almost everyone's tastes

That part I can understand. The GBA has a massive collection of games.
