How big is the file? I converted it to .cso and it was about 800-900. Loaded perfectly. Note that I had a UMD in my slot.

it was around (in iso) 1.4 gigs

It should almost cut the size by a half. Make sure the compression rate is 9 - and test it before you delete the original ISO.

I have no idea what you just said. But yes, it's possibly the best PSP game out - best experience on a handheld ever (yes, better than the DS). The multiplayer is almost the same as Subsistence - which is a good thing! Except there are cheap noobs but meh, still fun! And it is worth the purchase, believe me. You will not regret it!

Metal Gear Solid: PO is the best game ive ever played on a handheld...if only this came out earlier in the PSPs life then it wouldve become a MUST by psp for a must by game!
