PSP 2.00

I need some serious help. I need to know, if I update my PSP to Japanese 2.00 on IGN will my PSP only be able to play Japanese Games?

This should be in PSP Forum but regardless what version your PSP is, it can play any game -- It's region free. Excluding the movies -- so, I'm not sure if the region changed for the movies.

I've installed the update. It does NOT change region code for games or for movies.

How is the browser? Can it stream Quicktime movies?

So that mean's it can play american games and movies? Can you also change the language in the menue to english.

Yes, you can play American games and movies. If your language is set to English, then everything will be in English. BTW: I'm posting from my PSP. :)

Probably. If not, you can just download the Japanese or (if it comes out by that time) the NA firmware.

Also, another thing I noticed was that my widescreen MPEG-4 videos don't stretch out to full screen by default. They can now be viewed in the normal resolution. Does this mean we can convert movies to 480 x 272? o.O
