He did not come up with "hells yea." Such a phrase has been around for ages (since as far back as I can remember, stretching into the late 80s). 4 years is nothing.

Lately I've been hearing a lot of people here complaining when they find an idea they think they or someone they know made up gets popular. Not only are the chances of that very slim, but complaining when you think you or someone you know originated something really popular isn't all that logical. It's almost impossible to casually coin a term and most people know that it was you, some 99.999% of people would have no idea who started it, and they wouldn't believe claims of any one person. So, if you think you know you coined a term or some simple idea, just get over the idea of it being "stolen" and be happy you originated something really popular.
