PSP Downgrader

Steps to install MPH downgrader:
- Create an UPDATE folder in PSP/GAME/ folder of your memory stick
- Copy EBOOT.PBP (update 1.50) in /PSP/GAME/UPDATE folder
- Unpack MPHDowngrader.zip
- Copy overflow.tif in your PSP/PHOTO/ folder of your memory stick
(make sure you have changed your background to frame_buffer.png as explained in the tocora exploit.)
- Copy h.bin in root of your memory stick
- Copy index.dat in root of your memory stick
- Plug the AC adaptor

"Then, enter in VSHELL PHOTO MENU, this will launch Version Changer.

Create an USB connection and if the Version Changer has been installed, a new file is created in your root of your memory stick (ms0:/index.dat.bak).

Then go to VSHELL GAME MENU and launch 1.50 update.

When it is at 99%, the psp show an error message, just shutdown psp with power button (let +- ten seconds) after restart the psp and press round button at blue screen."

Dear, dear, I'm not using this!

I had heard that the downgrader was not actually true a few weeks ago. Once your PSP is 'bricked', is there no way back?

Wow, Sony must be ****ting their pants right now. They should just go with the flow and become open-source.

If it breaks, just put on it on Ebay. If they complain, tell them they didn't ask. Works like a charm.

NEVER download the first one. Wait for the second or third version, so that plenty of people have tested for you.

I already told ya. I'm not downgrading. The AVC encoding was a blessing for my movie/video conversions. I'm not just gonna ditch it now... >_>

i risked it, and it was worth it. i downgraded my psp and it worked perfectly and i even got a program to trick the psp into thinking it is a 2.0 so i can still play all the new games, i havent heared of any psp's getting bricked by using this yet. so go ahead and use it :)

yea, you got the WAB or whatever...im not gonna downgrade. it stops at 99% so you are missing 1% that could be important :P

New games dont require 2.00, the most ive seen is 1.52, but astill yeah, i get your point.

if there are files missing you can just upgrade it back to 2.0
