That is pointless...
why not do it with a CF/SD card for the NDS and save a ton.

The problem is that people don't know what a UMD is. My friend got all exicited because the PSP played UMD's, but he didn't know what a UMD was...

RE: Nintendogs ds

You can take a DVD and rip it to your PC, convert to MPEG4, and then put it on a Memory Stick Duo, but no real DVD Discs.

UMDs are much better than NDS cards, BTW. They Hold 1.8 Gigabytes of data, (about three CD's worth), whereas a DS card can only hold 128 Megabytes, (about 1/6th of one CD)

Yes. The discs spin around inside a small plastic case.

Yeah he did mean Capacity wise but he's VERY confused.
yes NDS cartriges are 128MB and UMD's are 1.8GB's,
but I see no reason why a 1GB SD or CF card couldn't be used via play-yan or the advanced movie player. Ask x999x and he will tell you that you can get 2 movies at reasonable quallity on a CF card with room to spare.

The NDS is far better for media in terms of cost and battery life... there is a small loss in terms of video quallity, but IGN said the play-yan is still better then the iRiver.

RE: dont mean to rain on the parade but.....

Update:
A third person tried to say that the PSP plays DVD. I quickly corrected him.
He also tried to tell me that the PSP has a built in Camera.

Where do these Rumors come from?
