Un-needed by who's call? Last I remember we've got to pay to add such functionality to a DS or SP.

The PSP is marketed as a multimedia device, so I surely hope it would have such facets as web connectivity, streaming music, and downloadable content.

If it weren't such a big deal, Ninty wouldn't be trying to make a similar application themselves.

By the very nature of the PSP, such opportunities to enhance the user experience were to be expected. Un-need, you say? The PSP is a multimedia device as well as a game device. So such things (like NetSpot) were inevitable. That "gg nds" was well placed, x999x. :P

its cool but y dont u just use ur loling PC, I mean it uses a wireless router SO U HAVE TO STAY PUT(to sum extent)... THAT SUCKS! i mean it will never beat ds bescause it not really portable if u cant use it everywhere. Plus it will be hard to control.

What if people don't want to shell out more money for a laptop to use such features at a HotSpot? The PSP would be great. You don't have to stay put, just have to stay within the range of the HotSpot itself. It is portable... you can use it everywhere... What will be hard to control?

i hate using buttons to cotrol( i like a mouse or touch screen) and the media is pretty worthless if its not portable... thats my opinion
