man back when the original Gran Turismo came out, i don't think i even ate for 2 days. i just sat there and played it, slept on the couch, woke up and played it. and then finally ate somthing, and then repeated taht process.

I'm a realism freak a lot of times, mostly for physics rather than graphics. My brother likes racing games so he had both Gran Turismo original and 2 for PS1, which we occasionally enjoyed. When I play racing games, I usually use a joystick (PC) or steering wheel (PS1), which considerably adds to the realism and feel of the game.

I really don't care about graphics on racers. After all, if you can get it going fast enough graphics won't matter assuming they're not so crappy you can't distinguish the track. Physics on the other hand, I must have. I love my copy of F-Zero GX, because it's so insanely fast, excellent physics, and you can make your own car. Then again, I also love Mario Kart because it's just such a fun game, and one of the only ones my family would ever play.
