Release date and price of PSP in Australia?

It's the 24th, same as here in New Zealand, and I think in aussie it's $200 AUS.

Oh woops, haha sorry, wasn't really looking...... why bother with PSP anyway? It's DRM ridden..... well that's enough from me, some-one else might know, but it's been delayed in Europe....

Digital Rights Management, the ability to stop you doing things with your hardware that they don't want you to do, such as play MP3 files that don't have some kind of electronic stamp on them to prove you have paid for it. *This is just an example, they probably won't do something like that I'm guessing*

I'd say get a DS, it's just so inovative, and it's cheaper and if you have a PS2 then spending the extra money on a PSP seems silly when you could get a DS and have money left over :)

Also imagine an RPG on the PSP with it's battery life :?

Yeah I'm most definitely getting a DS (24th, 4 days w00t!), I don't know whether or not to get a PSP aswell. That DRM thing sounds like a bit of a pain, but people will figure out a loophole ;).

Also - Battery life - This is the major turnoff for me, I just don't know whether I'll be able to get what I want out of it within the limited battery life, before I have to recharge again.
