Should I do this?

I want to know what you guys think about doing this. ok, here goes. my birthday is in July which is a longtime away. I was wondering if you guys think it is a good idea to take money out of my savings account, and then put back the same amount with the PSP money I will get. I am gonna ask my mom, but what do you think?

there's really no "must have" game out on the system, and so far, Lumines, the puzzle game is the only game to get worthy reviews...

Don't buy too much videogames... school work is more important. :twisted:

if you've already got a DS, then just save it for a next-gen console. i have a feeling that you will regret getting the PSP when Xbox 2, PS3, and the Revolution come out.

Don't worry about next-gen consoles right now (unless you've got eyes on Xbox 2 or have disposable income). If you really think you want a PSP, then do so. However, be prepared to have to worry about purchasing games for another system.

well, what games should i get for it?

i'd get Gt4 mobile, but other than that, they all are just mediocre games. (unless wipeout:pure is as good as the original one)

i am gonna read some reviews of the games. my mom still hasnt given me an answer, and I am so excited/worried at once. I hope she says yes.

I don't think it's a simple matter of 'beating' one another anymore. It kind of used to be, back when it was SNES/Sega Genesis, and even up to the PSX/Saturn and then Dreamcast era. I think at this point they've realized no company is going to 'win'... there is more than enough room in people pockets and the market to have more than one console surviving at any point. The famicon has a strong enough following on the SP alone to survive the PSP, even without the DS. And since the DS, and Biohazard 4 boosting Nintendo sales...

I think it's healthy to consider the PSP. I know I am.
