Man its 16 players online!
Damn cant wait for this, and it'll have voice input also, so i can swear at people while i shoot their brains in.

"we've already seen the Talkman, but now Sony have (sneakily) announced that SOCOM will feature voice communication too. Seems like more and more games are going to be using that USB mic. An email newsletter sent out yesterday on the game asks Single player not really your thing? Then hit up one of the 12 expansive multiplayer maps all with full community features including voice chat and headset support. Two different game play modes provide more action: up to 10 players in AD Hoc Mode and up to 16 players in Infrastructure Mode."

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: PSP - What

Credit must go to DsNews.com for that one, musn't it Biggy?

Yeah I'm pretty hyped for this game. I think the TDS members who have 'diverted' to the darkside should all agree to get a game and play online with each other. Would be pretty hard to implement, as some may not have money etc, but hey, 16 players online, how about 10 TDS members battling all at once. Fine by me =D

RE: SOCOM

Yeah, I mean the PSP games.

But, of course, we could all get Mario Kart (I don't know many that won't be getting that), so it's not too bad for you sucky non-owners of the PS ;)

... Sucky? Why would you play it on a PSP anyway. Better, once more, on PC. I won't play any FPS on dual analog, so you can bet I won't do it with worse.

RE: SOCOM

ShadowMarth, please chill. Also, no more of how anything even remotely related to the PSP is a waste of your money. We've heard it a thousand times already... >_>

Euan, "sucky" was a poor word choice. Next time, use something less offensive (like... fluffy, for instance).

As for SOCOM, I'm definitely going to get it. We can arrange a game every so often (weekly?). But 16 players online is quite a lot for a handheld. Sounds frag-a-liscious. :)

RE: SOCOM

It was tongue in cheek DSdude, I didn't mean to offend though SM, it was just a lil' joke. I used to think the same of the PSP as you do, after all...

Yeah a weekly game would be awesome. I know Biggy's definately getting it, as will I... Chuddy? LKR? Seph? There's a few PSPer's here...

LKR, why don't you sneak down to the games shop and then buy SOCOM there? I'm sure you'd get sold there, and it would be our little secret ;)

Hehe, there's no way you could get it if it was rated more than a 12 or whatever?
