Sony will unveil PSP Price and Release Date on Jan 5th. (US)

They're losing money on the PSP? Where did you hear that from. From what I read, they sold BIG on their first week.

Hehe, Sony's not doing so well. But Mormon's right, it costs approximately $450-$500 to produce a single PSP unit. Now, subtract $185 from that, and multiply that by the number units sold so far. That's how much they've lost. Of course, they try to make that up with software sales...

yea they will probably crank up the price of games and memory sticks to make up for the loss.

Exactly! Some people say that analyst has made some horrible predictions (about the PSP) and he made this article just to bull**** and get back at them. (I don't know how that works but...)

it is analystS. as in plural analyst. they're those financial weirdos on that you see on CNN.
