Agreed,
No Nintendo system has ever been backward compatible more then one generation. It's really too bad, cause the DS certainly has the power to emulate GB/GBC games, the GBA slot just needs to be designed to accept the legacy carts (as it is on the actaul GBA). Of course the revolution will only be backward compatable one generation (it won't accept NES/SNES/N64 carts). EVEN the nintendo IQue is only plays N64/SNES games, of course, it doesn't play the physical carts, but just the downloaded ROMS. ![]()

Discount the PC argument, because whether an old game runs on XP is completely dependent on the developer, not windows. There are tons of old games I had when I had a '98, that aggrivatingly are impossible to run now. |

Present: Mircrosoft?
The 360 id give a 7/10 for backwards. They havent handled that aspect of it very well at all. You have to have the harddrive to play Xbox games, and then, even if you have that, there are still alot of games that wont work.
