lol, I actually think that Sony did copy off of Nintendo I just need to find out exactly what. Maybe I'll look for it when I'm done playing CS:Source.

Oh, what did sony copy off nintendo? Where to start?
D pad analog stick motion sensing (don't deny) shoulder buttons rumble wireless controllers Everything else about the playstation. They never intended to make any "disc add-on".

Wasn't it actually Nintendo's idea to make a console with a CD drive, so they hired Sony to create the drive for them and Sony ran off with the technology for the console?

2 or 3 years ago? Try SNES era. It depends who you ask what happened, but it's quite obvious Sony's intention was never to make a CD drive. Nintendo partnered with them to make a CD drive for the SNES. Sony, as the maker of so many consumer electronics, would have no problem doing so. So they partnered. But two years later, they still had produced nothing. At that point, Nintendo got wise to them, broke off their partnership, and Philips made the CD drive in a matter of months. Sony never intended to make any CD drive, they were just stealing technology and gaining information on the market for their Playstation.

Playstation Home <u>WILL NOT</u> bring in casuals and non gamers the way Miis and Wii Sports did. Why? Because home looks like the sims. people have seen it before, its nothing special. Its just another shoddy attempt for Sony to recoup their losses.
While on the topic of copying Nintendo, there are strong things going aoround to suggest Microsoft are set to release some sort of motion controller add on for the Xblock 360....
