Personally if i was sony and nintendo i would be very worried about Microsoft. To ignore them would be a very silly thing to do. They are becoming very aggressive and have the finances to backup there promises. Microsoft have every intention to win the next generation and i wouldn't underestimate them for one second.

honestly, i think Nintendo will never be defeated when it comes to hand held titles and systems. Nintendo has been running the portable game for the longest. toppling over the gamegear and other knockoff portables along the way. PSP will be its toughest challenge and its already starting to prove more powerful than the PSP.
