I disagree. Thanks to Miyamoto, I have something to look forward to that overshadows everything they showed at the press conference.
E3 2008: Miyamoto Confirms Pikmin 3 - GameBump.com Somewhat ironic... Showing was so ****, that Nintendo wasn't the only one that held back. Microsoft held back a Halo announcement. The irony is that it would have been substantially less ****ty if they had shown these items. Halo Drama: Bungie's Halo Game Announcement Held Back For A "Dedicated Event"

No. Its dead. The second Microsoft doesn't show a Halo game at E3 is the second we can close the doors for good.
