a sony fanboy is like the definition of mainstream gamer. which is pretty much, if its shiny you buy it. EA makes all their money off of those people.

i've NEVER met a Nintendo fanboy under 11(and the 11 is LKR.. lol). Sony's fanboys are just as young and old as Ninty fanboys.

EDIT: o and by the way they took a survey and found that most kids who bought a PS2 bought one because their friends had one.

there you go, the reason for the PS2's success.

Sony seems to live mostly off games of violence, killing, destroying, crashing, illegal stuff, sports, and even crappy games of pure graphical wonder. Nintendo lives off mostly kid safe games that everyone that isn't looking for a game of world corruption can enjoy. Sony has a much narrower age range than Nintendo, although might average to be older, their games either teach younguns that killing is fun or they give old people heart attacks, Nintendo is much safer for those high and low ages. True, Sony has some great games, I have some of the original PlayStation games, but they aren't nearly as common anymore and I believe Nintendo was in the lead for great games all along.

Heh, Sony fanbois like graphics? Have you seen the PS2 - crappiest graphics you'll ever see compared to Xbox and GameCube. And Sony dominated the market with their silly graphics because of their "games". So, I disagree that "all" sony fanboys like graphics.

I haven't seen the PSP lineup... can someone find it and post it here please =) But anyways, PSP has some nice upcoming games (from what I've seen) and DS may have more but there could be a possiblity that most of them will suck.... like most of the DS games now.

I have a friend that he got his playstation 2 at 3 years old... and he gets like all these dirtbike and quad racing games... I am not trying to argue... I am just saying...
