RE: new moderators?

they clearly like the PSP better, even though technically its a tie.

but when the main competition is between the announced games, why aren't they included in the discussion? the DS would win that for sure...

RE: I

In every "comparison" I've seen, the PSP wins in most, if not all, of the same categories. Although, they do have some good points.

im still really annoyed that they don't include games on there. isn't that the selling point for most people?

In terms of the console itself and not it's potential etc... PSP ownz DS by a lot!

Innovation and potential to be an actual extremely fun console -- DS would take the cake. We can only wait and see what games are released. So currently, PSP is winning. Sad, but true.

I know exactly why they said "tie" because once they started posting on how much better they thought the psp was than the ds, people who liked the ds started flaming them and they were getting sick of it... so to solve the problem they call it a tie then both parties are happy.

Well,
They're saying what I've been saying. The Nintendo DS makes a better portable system.
If your looking for a system for road trips or to play in your room (or all around the house for that matter) the PSP (aside from price) is the clear winner. That Said, you'd be just as well off with a slim line PS2, and an LCD screen. (larger libary, plays DVD/CD and PSX games) for upto four players.

That said if what your looking for is a portable system the Nintendo DS is better. Better battery, much cheaper, preferable for Music/Movies (in terms of cost and battery life) and a larger libary*.

What is intresting is they hammer some points that I can't believe Nintendo didn't fix. Why is that games are limited to 128MB, why aren't the graphics a little better, why isn't multi-media built in, and most unforgivably, why isn't there a analog joystick (this would cost almost nothing).

*when including GBA games and/or FC games

RE: So i dont have a DS but I am not going anywhere.

games are not limited to 128MB that’s just the size of the standard card size being used at the moment they could easily make it bigger.
