ive seen a nice vid of mario kart in action when they showed it at the GDC a bit back they used d pad controlls but the bottom screen had a close in over head view so you could see whats comming or whos comming from behind you

what would be cool would be have the top screen lookingward and the bottom screen looking backwards

yea i love how you can even see the items on the course, like say a green shell coming up behind you. so now we can dodge it hooray
