Anyway, you can see where this is going, and i would like to hear other peoples opinions on the matter, and ultimately, which is the better online.

Okay, i will address those points.
-More players
Well that is debateable, sure, more players would be great, but the 4 players on metroid kinda suits the game, the screen, the levels right, and im happy with it.

better controls
good lord, someone hang lkr for that statement, im not even going to bother.

voip
the clarity of the ds is about the same as socoms, if not better, and its much more convinent.

(this is coming from someone who spent a considerable about of time with each game.

You know Lkr, he's considerably uninformed and changes his mind constantly, he's on this planet just to make us laugh and in many cases make us feel better than someone else when we screw up.
Obviously biggy is right, anyone with the right mind for real games that's played an equal amount of both games would agree, I'm confident in that even though I've never touched a PSP. I just watch what people say about both sides, and I've observed that the games for DS have better gameplay and more innovative features.
The voice quality is about as good as Teamspeak, the only real problem is that the built-in mic doesn't pick up very well from a distance so you need to move the DS close to your mouth when you speak, which I've gotten used to (I still want a headset, which I might make myself if an official one isn't released).

Edit: I'm assuming Lkr hasn't even played MPH, or if he has it was only for a short time (not enough to get the hang of the controls or features).

Also, pilot, there are headsets you can buy, not offical though, GAME sell their store brand head sets here, they came bundled with nintendogs if you were to buy it from there.
