And for the record, I concede that PS2 had the better library overall. However to me the GC was still a must-have. Why? Because it had Nintendo games. Nintendo games are ALWAYS exclusive, and so many are such classics, and such beloved franchises. And it was quite readily apparent to me that Sony had the better library through absolutely no action of their own. Their whole library was almost entirely third party.

Great, great poll. I was always quite the Playstation 1 man (due to sheer ignorance), but I'll stick by my earlier 'choice' and say that it was the right one. Not to deny Nintendo the fantastic games that they produced (Goldeneye, Perfect Dark, Zelda anyone?), but the controller just wanted to make me kill myself. Well, not really.

Seriously, although it was the "first controller with analog sticks" (though I'm sure that has been found to be incorrect somehow, don't shoot me if I'm wrong) and it had the 2 playable options... it was just hell to hold in my small 9-year old hands (or however old I was when I played it), and that's what really matters.

Yeah, the N64 created both the analog stick and the rumble. Among the many (pretty much all) modern controller features Nintendo did first.

I actually got both pretty close to their release dates and I grew up on them. This was pretty tough for me...

On the PS1 side... I wasted about half my life on Gran Turismo and Gran Turismo 2. Ace Combat 2, Crash Bandicoot(the whole series), Jet Moto, and Final Fantasy 7-9, as well as a few others were the highlights for me. I probably played this system the most out of the two...

The N64 was effing sweet too though. Mario Kart 64 never got old, and neither did Super Smash Brothers or Mario Tennis. Games like F-Zero X, Zelda OoT(and MM), Perfect Dark, 007, Diddy Kong Racing, Donkey Kong 64, and Banjo Kazooie kept it goin for meh.

Honestly, I can't pick between them. I'm just not going to vote =P
