RE: Re: RE: Why are you an admin?

I noticed one thing about Sony today. This might be a big factor to success of the PSP. Look at past few months of sales. Remember when Grand Theft Auto San Adreas was coming out? Sony built such a hype about it and once the game came out they tried to keep it up as long as possible. When it died they build up the hype about Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater. When thet vanished they realeased Grand Tourismo 4. No offanse but Sony boys have always a big release coming up soon. No matter what. Can you say the same about Nintendo or (god forbid) Microsoft. Any big games since Halo2, or Matroid Prime2? I dont think so. If Sony keeps the same strategy on PSP it might be much more successful then NDS. :-( However I belive that Nintendo has an apportunity to score a huge share of the market here. Sony lucks RPG games. If Nintendo releases a hit game in MMORPG ganre soon, they will make Sony suffer. Imagine, something like World of Worldcraft or Everquest that you are totaly addicted to, that u can take with you where ever you go. OMG. I cant wait. Make me proud Nintendo. /me goes to pray now.

RE: Why is it called a "Stylus"?

I totally agree... Sony is backed up with great if not A LOT of developers; Nintendo -- not so much. And btw, there are A LOT of new great games coming to the PS2 this year - GC... none ;) But with the innovative touch screen, perhaps it'll spark some great ideas.

And btw, check your spelling. Quite a few mistakes ;)

RE: Why is it called a "Stylus"?

Anyone seen that carving tech demo? Now what I'd really love to see on the DS is an RPG game where you can carve furniture and stick it in your house..... If Sony do get a big part of the market it will be due to advertising, advertising is one of the reasons that MS are so big, apple are getting bigger and their Ipod sells like crazy because of ADVERTISING, now I hate advertising but it does work for most people, such as my friend who I think has been molded into the perfect consumer, gives into hype and marketting fluff all the time *sigh*!

Re: RE: Re: RE: Why are you an admin?

Sony is king when it comes to advertisement for its systems and its games. That is why the PS2 is as successful as it is. That is also why there are so many developers making games for its systems (console or otherwise). People will buy a popular system with popular games. This is also a factor in the PSP's future.

You can't deny that Sony won't at least TRY to advertise it like crazy. This is something Nintendo needs to counter, with at least more system advertising and more game advertising. If Nintendo can successfully market the DS and at least a few of its great games, then the PSP might not be as big as a success as it feels right now (that it might be). Nintendo needs to reach out to the "casual gamers" as well as the "hardcore gamers" in order to continue its dominance of the handheld market. More teenage and up advertisement is crucial as well.

But I don't care. Come March 24th, I'll have both systems. So I need not complain. :P

Yes, but that is also a downfall of sony. All the hype, then they come out, and no one talks about it anymore. All their games are MORE popular before they come out.

Hehe, because it make Baby Jesus cry. ;) And that you're old and since English is the language of business, it'll be good to learn English now then later. And what language is that? It looks like Polish, German? I have a feel I'm wrong.

Re: Why lock threads? This is a forum, not a Q&A.

Wow. I am positively surprised that you knew what language it is. Me so happy. :-D LOL. It is Polish. And since you brought a valid point I will try not to make any more typos. :-P. Forgive me!
