Yeah, I knew things like that, but I thought all of the companies were making losses to entice buyers.
THis news that the Gamecube cost $25 to make has really dampened my spirit for the next-gen. I thought games were so expensive to make up for these losses that the Ps2 and the Xbox made (at least, I think they made losses on each console sold). Nintendo didn't need to make the games so expensive, even though they were almost certain to finish 'third best', yet they were still the same price as the rest.
I was preparing to buy the Revolution because of not only a cheaper system, but cheaper games as well. Will Nintendo once again, despite making lesser losses than the rest, put their games prices the same as the rest in stead of making their prices competitive considering their image?
Worrying.
