PS3 Vs Xbox 360?

Well both now have 5 each. I have no idea which one i'll get...knowin me i will prob end up gettin neither.

personaly i prefer the 360 for 1 reason. elderscrolls 4 oblivion. not interested in anything else at launch. id get the PC version if my lappy could run it but that wont happen and a new comp would cost alot more than a 360. and my experience with the PC version of morrowind was not great (bugs everywhere). so microsoft can rack up one sale :D. The PS3 is an interesting technical concept but to me thats all it is. Sony, i think, are more concerned with the success of the cell than the PS3 since they already know that will be a hit. They dont want another Emotion Engine fiasco.

Yeah, but the reason the Emotion Engine failed was because it was so hard to program for. I'm amazed that it got so many games. The cell on the other hand, will be multitudes harder to program for, and therefor much more expensive to develop, so I don't know how many developers will jump on that...

well most at first as they will expect it to have the success of the ps2 but i dont think you will get the quanity of games and the ps3 will not dominate the console market like the ps2 does this generation well thats what i beleve

Care you explain why you think that rather than just "I think PS3 will die... because I said so". =)

i never said it would die or not be susseful just it wont dominate the market as much as the ps2 has dominated this market as it is harder to develope for so more expesive so only the big companys will develope for and they dont get many if any soon that will be exclusive to there console at lest microsoft get pc games ported to there console so if you can afford a pc then the best option is a xbox/360 and nintendo will only be able to become more populare as they were the lest this round

so overal the ps3 will not beable to dominat the market as the ps2 has done as any decent game on it will be put onto the 360 eventualy or if not at the same time in otherwords the microsoft is on the up and sony is no the down i cant comment on the revloutionas we dont know enoth apart from that it wont fail as there are too many nintendo fans out there
