PS3 Vs Xbox 360?

Well i'm undecided about which one to get. I'll defo be getting the Revolution so that's outta the question, but i would also like an Alternative console. So overall which do you think is better or will be better?

prob PS3 but i don't have enough money for that so if you're tight on money go with the xbox 360.

the PS3 will own the XBOX 360 and the Revolution, so just save up all your money and get the PS3 :)

It depends what kind of games you like. I know that's a cliche, but even so, it's right. Even though this is a stereotype, if you enjoy first-person shooters, Microsoft has a whole load of those. Definately the best system for that. It also has a few nice Xbox-only games.

The PS3 appeals to almost everyone, apart from very young kids. Got some great games and series which will appear on that console (Final Fantasy, Metal Gear Solid, Ratchet and Clank...).

Personally, I'd go for the PS3, but as I'm sure Mormon could tell you, there's a few nice Xbox games coming out, and they seem to be closing the gap on Sony...

i wouldn't get a PS3 anyway, cause as Kutarugi said, "the PS3 is not a gaming machine".

Well, I'd definately say 360 between the two. I'd bet the PS3 will either be way expensive, or not half as good as they say (and since they promised photorealistic graphics, and not even their pre-rendered "tech demos" could do that, it's not happening), the Xbox is probably the way to go. Not only that, but the 360 is coming out earlier, likely cheaper, it'll be easier to program for by far, and it comes with a crappy, but nonetheless useful version of xbox live. The game lineup may not be altogether amazing, but it certainly has some gems, if not on launch.

Edit: Of course, they've still got that god-awful hard drive issue, but assuming you get the more expensive you'll be perfectly fine.

but you must decide to get xbox360 premium or core one comes with somrthingbetter than the other but pemium is cheaper because it gots no hardrive while core comes with hardrive and wires romotes and something else.

Anyway, you'd have to be pretty dumb to get the cheaper one. The cheaper one is pretty much useless.
