PSP Sucks on all levels...

I was taking about the whole nano, not just the screen. I guess thats why apple's shipping cases with nanos now.

but apple fixed the nano. theres always bugs and errors with the original release, so thats why you wait just a lil bit and buy one then. My Nano has nothing wrong with it and I've dropped it 3 times.

I rate it, I rate it very highly. I've dropped it a few times in the last few days - it's still alive and well. There's not any noticable scratches, I can still see my reflection in the back (isn't really a good thing now is it?), the battery is much better than people say, it looks to be around 8-12 hours long, could be even longer. I've been listening to it pretty much non-stop since Christmas, and todays the first time I've had to charge, and even then there was one or two hours juice left in it.

Nano = 9.5/10. Only problem is the buttons not sticking out, that's what was so great about teh Shuffle, I didn't even have to take the thing out when I went into my pocket to change the track or put the volume up. I could just judge where the buttons were, and press.

Very right you are my friend.
The whole concept of the Nano is a gimmick, reason why its based on the size factor. When Apple caught wind of the defaults, they had to act fact because they relized they could be proved wrong on how small they could make their technology. The Nano DOES look cool but its made for the 'light' music fan, people who have a rather modest collection, doesnt listen to alot of music in their spare time, but rather for when they go out on their bike/journies and are attracted to its looks, similar in which to the psp works in the video games market.

On a slightly related note but even more off topic, im looking into 20gig-30gig mp3 players, the iPod video seems the best choice for my needs and price, im not going to put videos on it often and i can use it all for music, but im debating as to if the 20gig will just fill up rather quick, because, unless my itunes libary is lying, ive 14. something gigs of music on my pc, and im always buying albums and the like.

Now to question all ive just said, get back on topic people oh i may drop my second lockage pill soon.

I wouldn't exactly call 1000 songs - that's around 60 hours of music - "light". To me, that's a hell of a lot of music.

i would say that ipod video pwns ds in media. yeah it doesnt have that massive screen as the psp.. however with 30 gigs of storage or even 60 i can put every dvd in my liberary and still have some room for some music.. and it can be used as a harddrive if you want to put other files on it.. but here are my three reasons why i think psp isnt as good as ds..
1. I have an iPod Nano.. holds two times as much as a 2 gig psp stick. and i dont need movies on the go.. if i did i would get a iPod Video..
2. Games are mostly ports or the games dont look cool to me.. i mean MMBN5DTDS is one game that no matter how hard you tried it wouldnt be the same on the psp as it is on the ds.
and finally
3. IT COSTS WAY TO FREAKEN MUCH!!!!!!!! 250 bucks.. about 40-50 bucks a game, and not to mention 25 bucks for a movie.. DS=130 bucks. Game= 30-35 bucks.... standard DVD 10-20 dollars.. Sony lost me here..
