Is the Nntendo DS suitable for girls?

I've made the decision. If I wanted to play N64 games, then I'd buy a DS. But for real fun on the go, in case you haven't seen the battery reports, I'm getting PSP.

By the way; the CNET says in the review of the DS the battery maxes at 7 hours. The PSP, playing Lumines, maxes out at 9 hours. Sorry, but this IS a fair fight, and PSP has it won!

That's it; I'm going to the DARK SIDE! PSP HERE I COME!

I would never change to the PSP. The DS is much more fun and i don't think those battery reports are true. But it's your money and you can do whatever you want with it.

I like DS much better, but PSP looks cool too! The real problem of thePSP ( for me ) it's the games. I have yet to find a good game for it!

RE: Resident Evil DS?

Yea but who the hell wants to play lumines. They clocked Ridge Racers at about between 90 min - 3 hours of playtime....yea go for it.

And you'll see what kind of mistake you made in the long run.

Why can't you get both Element K?

And IMO for 'real fun on the go' the DS will win out. It has more pick up and play games which are perfect for a handheld - you don't want a 50+ plus 3D shooter game with save points every hour if your just traveling to work.

But anyway, Hats off to Sony, it's a great lil' machine and I'll be getting mine in March.

Please, lets try and keep to facts too when voicing opinions.

To really enjoy the PSP, though, you need graphic-intense games like Ridge Racer. Then again, that also drains the battery faster. So for maximum battery, graphic-heavy games aren't the way to go on the PSP. It's unfortunate though. I agree with touchds on the 'real fun on the go' factor. DS games are more easily accessible and designed for quick playing sessions. All a matter of opinion though.

im not dumb enough to think the PSP is better than the DS. who cares what the battery life is when the games SUCK? metal gear acid? did anyone say card-system based? GAY. GT4 mobile is the only game worth playing, and the battery on that one is supposed to be one of the lowest. plus, have you looked at all the defects the PSP has? did you know that if you dropped it, you'd probably never be able to play it again? news flash: it sucks
