True, they were misinformed, which is one reason they PURCHASED it, however, the point is that after weeks of use and testing on multiple aspects (gaming, music, movies, etc.), they were disappointed. That was my point, although I do see yours.

Re: RE: Some random peoples opinions on the PSP

Anyone see the Slashdot article about how almost half of the PSP's sales are movies? You should also check out my comments on it.

More than half. Wasn't it 60%? BTW, Lunar DS hit japan last week. It'll be a while until we get it though.

No, it was around 40%, but Sony said, "we expect that to rise to 60% by early next year." WTF? Isn't that like saying, "We expect our games to get crappier and crappier and more people invest in 4-inch screen movies instead." lol

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Be Warned Nintendo

yes in other words i like to look at it as they never meant it to be a proper portable games console no just a smaller version of portable dvd player with a smaller screen and one that you have to buy special disks for or if we feel like it we might release the ocasional game

(wow do that not just make you want to get one right now )

End of Traditional Zelda Games

Yeah, but UMDs were a joke, and they push that rediculous duo memory stick just because they want it popularized with their other electronics.

The problem is, they're marketing as a "games" system. It gets hype for the "games". And yet, the "games" stink and are being outsold by tiny movies (which is an anamoly I have yet to figure out. WHY DO YOU WANT TO WATCH A MOVIE ON A TINY SCREEN WHEN YOU CAN WATCH IT ON A BIG SCREEN FOR THE SAME PRICE!?!? My brain hurts...)
