Sony Says Falling Sales are Due to a "Weak Industry"

Sony claims that its drop in profits is because the game industry is weak. However at the same time, Microsoft and Nintendo, a company that derives its total profit from the game market, is thriving. They also say this despite the enormous profits they've made with the PS2, and its continuing sales, despite the gen being near close. The CFO is full of it.

Your right, I'm working on getting a 3rd PSP battery because of it. They make crappy stuff on purpose to milk more money out of people.

At least they admitted they aren't doing so great, they just aren't strong enough to blame their own strategy. All of their stupid comments the past month or so is clearly showing that they're on the last straw and they can't trust PS3 and PSP alone to make them a success. Sony is officially down the tubes next gen as far as I'm concerned.

You realize they're milking people out of money and you go for it anyway? Are you rich and careless? You should sell your PSP if it's causing so many problems (aka if it's from Sony).
