I doubt that. What with the massive burst in sales recently, I'm sure it's far exceeded that by now.

RE: PS3 Vs Xbox 360?

I think the time to judge the UK handheld war will be after Christmas though, many parents, with the holiday season rapidly approaching, will be asking their children to wait an extra couple of months for the PSP.

It could work both ways though, maybe the DS will go down in price and sell bucket loads. You can never know...

RE: Nintendogs vs Advance Wars

Seriously mormon, guys, if you lived in the uk, try london, then only then you will understand how much this thing is selling, how much people want and how much hype is around it. I want the ds to do well, i really do, but the ps2 is in 1 in 4 british homes, the psp will follow that. take my word for it.

Re: RE: PS3 Vs Xbox 360?

Exactly. It's talked about here as well, but not many people at the minute seem to be going down to GAME and Gamestation and buying the PSP. It's no good people just talking about it. The DS get's less chat (infact, virtually none at my school), but still they seem to sell the systems.

Handhelds for some reason to have some sort of a 'poor' reputation, so not many are actually going out and buying a PSP.

RE: Yu-Gi-Oh Nightmare Troubadour

yea i think its cause they realized that they don't wanna dish out 250 bucks just to play their PS2 games on a smaller screen.

RE: Yu-Gi-Oh Nightmare Troubadour

I remember a couple times awhile back showing my DS to some not-big-gamers and almost instantly they said "do you know the PSP?". That shows that Sony is all on advertising and they have a strong base on the PlayStation name, but that's about it. I don't know anyone IRL that has a PSP or even plans to get one, I haven't even seen a PSP IRL. DS is another story, not a lot of non-gamers know about it, but I've seen a number of kids that have one. Nintendo focuses a bit more on word of mouth than common advertising, which is easily respected, word of mouth makes people more likely to buy it and a TV ad spreads the knowledge of it faster.

RE: Site Down?

I've never seen the PSP advertised though, properly on television. I just read lots in the papers, even my teachers know about it, and I don't even know if any of them have touched a control pad before.

There's just something about Sony.
