What's all the hype about?

I checked all the big electronic stores -- Future Shop, Best Buy, etc... and all I see is PSP, PSP, PSP... PSP. PSP's even got it's own page... actually 4 pages in Toys R Us. When I saw Nintendo DS last year, it got like 5 cm by 5 cm section of the page. Great going Nintendo!

There's even parties for PSP's arrival.

Why is Sony so damn good in advertisements and Nintendo... well, just sucks! =P

How do you think the PS2 is so big? Sony is a master at advertising their gaming products.

PSP cost SO much.
It's crazy...

$400 get's you a PSP, spidermean 2 (the movie), and Grezky NHL and Twisted metal.

Ouch, that's twice what a DS costs. even with 2 more games, the DS is still only $280

That's technically still advertising. "Trend" may be a more appropriate word though. Or, maybe "word of mouth" came into play resulting in them getting a PS2. Either way, it's helping Sony.
