Very informed and unbiased article. That was a good find. Even the poll it links to indicates the Wii may win out (currently the poll has Ninty in the lead, then M$, then Sony).
I did find it interesting that the PS2 has another 5 years of games left... That may end up hurting Sony in the long run, if they offer the same games on both PS2 and PS3, it would be cheaper to just get the PS2 version (unless they decide to sell PS3 games for the same price as PS2 games, which is doubtful or if you didn't need/want hi-def).

Well that is really the same position as Xbox or 360 games. You can get some of the current games for Xbox, rather than 360, but if you have a 360, why would you?

Ah, but the 360 isn't more than double the cost of the Xbox, like the PS3 will be to the PS2.

I found this on some news story on game feed.

"• Survey results indicated market share for the PS3 to be at 48%, Xbox 360 to be 37%, and Wii to be 15% by the summer of 2007"

Obviously it makes no sense. None the less, just posting it.
