I never said you can't take a joke, you're quite the contrary, but you do tend to be involved in confusing or angering a lot of people with your jokes, and from what you said suggests you take everything as a joke or of similar seriousness.

And about the topic... What more is there to talk about? We've already determined Wii wiill wiin by a long run. Who cares what the polls say, many of them are taken from sites with a strong bias towards a particular system, so the only real accurate poll we'll get is sales numbers.

It's becoming clear to me I must reside on a higher intellect level than you all...

...or on a higher plane of stupid jokes...

Typically the serious people are smarter than the people that joke all the time, depending on a number of factors though, particularly identifying major things as either serious or a joke, which I fortunately haven't had problems with. This stuff on the other hand is a different story, but it's not major so it's not a big deal if I get confused.

Right...um...no...

Taking everything seriously is a sign of a weakness in a person. Those who can get the most out of life are always their better...

Life itself is a joke. If you take that too seriously, you're digging a hole for yourself.

Look at it this way: If you see life as a joke, you'll probably think someone is joking about choking and by the time you realize he's serious and do something about it he's already passed out.
It's true that being too serious has it's problems, but I think the right balance would be about 70% serious and 30% joking, and being serious (in the definition opposite of joking) doesn't mean you can't laugh and enjoy life anyway.

Here are two recently Dugg articles which both say Nintendo will win and use past evidence. Good reads, both of them.

It's almost painful to read this tale, particularly the last part, but it makes an excellent point about Nintendo's message and objective. Other than making money, of course.

Quote:
While I was there only a few people dropped by to play the Wii, but plenty watched. In the audience one senior proclaimed, “This is amazing my grandson has played lots of video games and I haven’t seen anything like this.” It also seemed like the price point wasn’t a big deal, when a Nintendo rep told a grandmother who played Wii Sports Tennis the system costs $249.99, the grandmother responded with “that’s all?” Her five year old or so daughter pulled her grandmother’s shirt and said “Can I have it?” The Grandmother then asked where she could buy the Wii and walked off. Nintendo also had DS Lites with Brain Age on display where guests could come by get their Brain Age and compete for a DS Lite.
Old people and Brain Age! What could go wrong?
