Nintendo WiFi Alliance Meeting/New NWA Forums

Well, it's been a while I gave you guys good information about the Nintendo WiFi Alliance. Well, here's a huge update for you, and no, it's not about the GameFaqs War ;)

First of all, I think we need to meet up. All the clans in the NWA need to meet up. And that's why I'm here today (mostly). Usually, if only 2 clans would meet up, I would propose a date and wait for your approval. But we're talking about OVER 20 clans here, so, I'll just post a date! Either you're there or not! Also, just for your information, we don't need to have ALL your members in the NWA chatroom (obviously, we'll meet up in there). We only require one or two people form your clan (leaders and co-leaders, or, someone that represent your clan for the Nintendo WiFi Alliance in case you can't attend the meeting).

Sunday March 11th 2007 at 7:00 PM EST (6:00 PM CST, 5:00 PM MST, 4:00 PM PST)

Who?
The people in charge of this clan (Leaders/Co-Leaders) or a person representing your clan.

Discuss the future of the NWA.


I know some of you can't make it, it's obvious. But, here's the cool thing. Remember the old NWA forums on invisionfree? You might not, because, I never made them very popular (considering invisionfree isn't very versatile for a coder like me). Well, those are shut down, so, if you have them in your bookmarks, please, delete it.
We have some new ones though. They are much better, and, I got a lot of ideas to make them even better (like a Clan Ladder System where you can register your clan, and challenge others).
I've seen lot of "MPH Clan Forums" on the Internet, but, none of them seem to work very well. Well, I'm here to change this with the NWA Forums. Expect lot of Clan Wars involving you guys! ;) The best would be if all your clan members registered on the NWA Forums, but, it's pretty much impossible to do this. Still, I would like to recommend everyone to register on the NWA forums. Since everyone will do the same, it will be much easier to organize meetings, clan matches, and much more.

After the meeting we'll be having on Sunday (see above for more information), I'll give one leader of each clan moderator-ship on his own Clan Forum on the board. He'll also have access to a part of the admin CP, and, I'm still working on giving you guys access to more modules.

Important Notice!

The Nintendo WIFi Meeting will occur TODAY at 7 PM EST (6 PM CST, 5 PM MST, 4 PM PST and 11 PM for those in the UK).

If you can show up, that would be great! I'll be waiting for lots of people. And remember, everyone is invited!

If you can tell me from which clan you are when you come in, it would be greatly appreciated! Sadly, I can't remember from which clan is everyone! :P

Important!

With over 20 members from different clans attending the meeting, it went extremly well. If you weren't present at the meeting and wish to voice out your opinion or at least check out what happenned, go check this thread: http://nwa.firestarclan.com/viewtopic.php?t=14

I STRONGLY suggest you to register at those forums. I'm not saying to leave your clan forums of course, but, registering at those will improve the quality of the Nintendo WIFi Alliance alot, especially if you give us your ideas and opinions.

For now, we just ask you to use the NWA forums for clan battles/tournaments to make everything easier, but, feel free to post in the upcoming Social Board to make friends and discuss about life or whatever.

Remember, the goal of the NWA is not to be a clan, but, a group of clan that prevent clans from dieing and going in a state of inactiveness. We're also here to help your clan getting started, and, of course, the NWA is the perfect place to advertise about your clan to get members, and get clan battles.

Right now this is what I want to focus on, not tourneys but preventing the death of our clan. They already have us marked for possibly being kicked from NWA, and for good reason. I almost ended the MPH division today, but while listening to the NWA meeting how they said they hate to see clans die, I decided to try a little bit longer and try to get some help from NWA. I don't want this to be a one-man effort, so everyone in TDS who wants to see us succeed should lend a helping hand where they see fit. I'm a strong advocate of instant conversation (such as voice or IM) because a whole lot more can get done in a shorter time, so we should use that more than we have been, especially considering that almost no clan can succeed without a good deal of such communication.
Together, with the help of NWA, we can make this work.

I don't think we have an overall clan leader, just the admins or site owner if anyone, we've been focused on clan divisions taking care of their clan activities without anyone handling overall clan activities.
